I bought this saw to do some cleanup work after an early winter storm dropped some big limbs out of our trees. This saw performed well, was pretty easy to handle, and had good power. I didn't want a huge saw, because I don't plan on cutting down trees, but I wanted something that wasn't going to be wimpy. This saw fits this bill. I was satisfied with how well it performed. Came assembled and ready to go. Start-up was easy. I recommend it.

This 14" Hitachi chainsaw is my new favorite power tool. Arrived in 2 days just in time for last minute planned cabin trip. Ran it for 2 days solid clearing brush, up to 8" diameter trees...butter. Surprisingly light, awesome engine, solid design, outstanding performance. Kicked my 18" Poulan to the curb.

With a 7 year warranty at $250 I had to get it. It replaces a McCulloch I had for 17 years. I have to get used to it not have the typical handle. However, a very nice chain saw.
